Online Course in Shamanism

The best way to learn Shamanism is through Journey work in the Otherworld and the only way to become a Shaman is through Journey work in the Otherworld.

This course is designed to give you methods and tools to learn how to Journey and to develop your Journeying for Shamanic Development.

The Indie Shaman Online Course in Shamanism consists of 6 exercises with full tutor support run via our Discussion Forum with additional support via email/pm as appropriate. A certificate is awarded on completion which has been accepted by many Insurance Companies as proof of competancy for Shamanic work.

This course is offered free to all members of the Indie Shaman Community and course work can be undertaken for as long as you remain a member - the minimum membership is one year and membership currently costs only £20 per year (£22.50 for members outside the UK).

We are currently able to offer this course at such exceptional value as part of our ethos of supporting Shamanic Development as costs are subsidised by shop sales and and membership subscriptions. The cost of the course in no way reflects its true value and course members have commented that once undertaken there is much more to it than first meets the eye. To view and join the Online Course in Shamanism:

  1. Visit our Membership Page and subscribe to join the Indie Shaman Community
  2. You will receive an email confirming your membership and asking you which name you will be using on the forum. Please reply to it especially if you use various email addresses so we know who you are when you register.
  3. Click on the Indie Shaman Forum
  4. Follow the registration instructions given.
  5. Please give some detail in the profile box e.g. interests, location - this is so we can easily tell you apart from the prevelance of spam. Thank you.
  6. When your registration has been confirmed as an Indie Shaman Community member you will be given access to the private Community section of the forum. This section also contains the Online Course in Shamanism.
  7. Read the instructions for the course and follow the course at your own pace.
  8. Don't forget to post a response to every exercise. Course tutors will then add their feedback.
  9. If you need additional support at any point during the course contact a course tutor. You can do this by posting on the forum or by pm'ing (private messaging) a tutor. If appropriate you may also be offered support via email.
